A couple of dope hip-hop remixes

I've got a couple of really fun hip-hop remixes to share with you - one from Bossasaurus and one from Kraddy. Also have a bonus - an original track from Alexipharmic.

This last track is from Alexipharmic, whose album, American Beauty, was released earlier this year. Not only does the album feature P.O.S. (of Rhymesayers & Doomtree) Braille, Grynch, and Cas One, as well as production from MGI, Budo, Elliot B, DJ Figure, and Infekt, but behind all of Alex's musical aspirations is a compulsion to use hip hop as a way to give back to the interwoven human condition.

{American Beauty album cover}

Most of American Beauty was written while on a 30 state, 10,000-mile road trip. Throughout the journey Alex interviewed countless men, women, and children of all walks of life at each stop. He ended up weaving the broad spectrum of the stories he recorded on the road with his own unique personal experiences. The result is an album that breathes with energy and ambition, and reflects the hopes, broken dreams, unity, division, optimism and voice of our current society.

Alexipharmic has worked on the Save Darfur project and he has donated 50% of his musical proceeds to charity. To date, thousands have been raised for many worthy causes. The 2009 American Beauty Tour will partner with Feed the Children and Alexipharmic will donate 100% of the tour’s net proceeds to combat child hunger and homelessness in America.
